Scarborough Sea Life Centre maintains its attractions
Thanks to Josh Saunders
for providing a superb guided tour of the Scarborough Sea Life Centre. With Gill Sennett & David Eagle
joining managing editor Alex Lewczuk on a fairly blustery March day, the range of attractions from jellyfish
through penguins
, seals in the top sea rescue centre
and some sleeping otters
( Cherry & Eric ) a fascinating insight into the world of marine life was duly provided
. With 80 baby turtles
,magnificent coral
and interactive opportunities galore
it`s little wonder that the sanctuary goes from strength to strength
. Meeting up with top former Southsider Amy Bowring
was an added bonus. Needless to say an audio podcast special encompassing some of the amazing aspects of this fascinating domain will be online shortly
- Gill in particular debating as to whether the jellyfish or the baby turtles were her personal favourite
whilst David maintained his interest in seals
. Thanks to marketing officer for Michaela Bowness for facilitating a superb & fascinating programme www.sealifeeurope.com
