150th Great Yorkshire Show wraps on a high

trio1.jpgWith garden-designer Sally Tierney back on the Southside team & joined by work placement from Stokesley School Lorna Whitlock & Father Mike, the final day of the Great Yorkshire Show brought the return of Ash & Claire from Mandarina Textilesmandarina.jpg,& return visits tosallyfiona.jpg Fiona Curzon who cleverly alternated blinking poses with Sallysallyfiona2.jpg, before the traditional Group photofiona3.jpg prior to preparing for the CLA Game Fair at Blenheim. Pianist extraordinaire Michael Vaughn was again on top formsallymichael.jpg, whilst the girls  from Savills were clearly well briefedsavills4.jpg.With ace toy craftsmentoyman.jpg & funky filly designs in full viewfunkyfilly.jpg, with designer cut off sleeves funkyfilly2.jpg`twas only right that Venture portraits should also be featuredventureportraits.jpg, before checking out the cats protection standcats.jpg. In the food hall, we renewed aquaintances with top cook Annie Stirk anniestirk.jpgwho was part of the deliciously Yorkshire teamdeliciouslyyorkshire.jpg, whilst Debbie & Husband from Debbie`s bakerydebbieskitchen.jpg were again in top formlornadebbieskitchen.jpg. For non-vegetarians,  the sausages from Debbie & Andrews were mouthwateringly deliciousdebbieandandrews.jpg,cheese from the Isle of Manisleofman.jpg added piquancy to the daycheeselorna.jpg, & the Sloe girls provided the ideal accompanyment to a super tasting survey,sloe.jpg not forgetting the ace local work of Davillsdavillsofripon.jpg. Great Yorkshire days out daysout.jpgwere well represented daysout2.jpg, Martin Broklehurst from Broklehursts of Bakewellmartinbrocklehurst.jpg was delighted the walking boots he supplied to station manager Alex Lewczuk 2 years ago at Badminton were still in top condition &,  as expected for the official visit of Her Majesty the Queen & the Duke Of Edinburgh, Judy Thompson, Lady Ingilby and Rebecca Parsley were immaculately turned outjudyemmarebecca.jpg.
