150th Great Yorkshire Show wraps on a high

With garden-designer Sally Tierney back on the Southside team & joined by work placement from Stokesley School Lorna Whitlock & Father Mike, the final day of the Great Yorkshire Show brought the return of Ash & Claire from Mandarina Textiles,& return visits to Fiona Curzon who cleverly alternated blinking poses with Sally, before the traditional Group photo prior to preparing for the CLA Game Fair at Blenheim. Pianist extraordinaire Michael Vaughn was again on top form, whilst the girls  from Savills were clearly well briefed.With ace toy craftsmen & funky filly designs in full view, with designer cut off sleeves `twas only right that Venture portraits should also be featured, before checking out the cats protection stand. In the food hall, we renewed aquaintances with top cook Annie Stirk who was part of the deliciously Yorkshire team, whilst Debbie & Husband from Debbie`s bakery were again in top form. For non-vegetarians,  the sausages from Debbie & Andrews were mouthwateringly delicious,cheese from the Isle of Man added piquancy to the day, & the Sloe girls provided the ideal accompanyment to a super tasting survey, not forgetting the ace local work of Davills. Great Yorkshire days out were well represented , Martin Broklehurst from Broklehursts of Bakewell was delighted the walking boots he supplied to station manager Alex Lewczuk 2 years ago at Badminton were still in top condition &,  as expected for the official visit of Her Majesty the Queen & the Duke Of Edinburgh, Judy Thompson, Lady Ingilby and Rebecca Parsley were immaculately turned out.
