125th Newark & Nottinghamshire County Show launches the show season in style

Chief Executive Officer Adrian Johnston and results coordinator extraordinaire Wendy Packham were on top form as ever. Meanwhile  John & Jean Jeater had produced their usual superlative craft area- www.cottageindustriesshirecrafts.co.uk .

With dancing diggers, fearless stunt bikers

& carriage driving  in the main ring

 adding to a cornucopia of ace animal forms & horticultural magnificence `twas only right that the Daily Mail Gardeners Question time proved to be another star attraction- with ITV/BBC Producer/Director and cofounder of Amicus Films John Francis on site total professionalism was the very least expected and John`s team duly delivered.

Meanwhile Julie was off to compare the continuing children`s adventures of Fergus the tractor with some slightly larger agricultural machinery. After checking out the wonders of Southwell racecourse with Claire & Doreen www.southwell-racecourse.co.uk , and some of the live music on offer, the attraction of setting up a new pop/dancing combo was proving too hard to resist- Julie & the Morris Dancers may well be on tour shortly ! Alex Lewczuk will provide the floral aspect of the dance !
