A Baker`s Dozen of health fairs

Southside`s  thirteenth Healthy Alternative fair took place in the James Cook University Atrium on Friday Sept 14th and provided the usual mix of top complementary therapies, nutritional advice and fascinating craft- oriented material. Gary Wetherall from Bioptron provides Tracy Anne Bousfield with her first light treatmentbioptron.jpg after which she met up with Bush Essentials` Ann Clement bush.jpgand had a top Reiki massage with Linda Vickers & the Healing Zonelindatracy.jpg. The Body Shop at Home proved to be a top attractionbodyshop.jpg as did ace harp therapist Liz Westheadlizwesthead.jpg who together with children`s author and creator of CBBC`s `Bad Penny ` & `Stupid` Dean Wilkinson decided that the prize of a family ticket to Countryside Live in October - kindly donated by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society should go to Linda Vickers & `The healing Zone` , winner.jpghere receiving her prize from event coordinator Shelagh Jones, with `Bush Essentials a close runner -upannclement.jpg . other highlights of the day included meeting up with Mr & Mrs Bowring bowring.jpg( parents of our ace pennsylavania USA correspondent Ross ), David Eagle having his first harp lessons davidharp.jpgand taking the Juice Plus Challengepills.jpg with Linda Turnbulljuiceplus.jpg whilst Jon Ferguson anchored the on-line studio broadcastsjonstudio.jpg ( seen here with writer Dean Wilkinson & Judith from Smart Therapies). Sky Blue Therapies Kirstykirsty.jpg made her Hafair Debut whilst Revenue & Customs expert Gill Prousegillprouse.jpg and Traditional Liquorice/sweets purveyor Graham Ventnorgrahamshelagh.jpg maintained their legendary status.
