Thanks to Marishelle Gibson and her top team for this latest info
Excitement is mounting as the opening day of the world’s biggest and most exciting countryside event, The CLA Game Fair draws closer. With just 2 weeks to go there is a frenzy of activity on site with pipes and cables being laid, marquees being built, 10,000 metres of fencing being put up, 4 car parks and caravan park for over 2,000 caravans being marked out and all the facilities and catering units being put in place.
The CLA Game Fair, held in association with The Daily Telegraph returns to Harewood House for the first time in 4 years not only bigger but bursting with more action than ever from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th July promising exhibitors and visitors a fabulous three days after the wet start everyone has been experiencing this summer.
Stars from Emmerdale, Christopher Villiers and Georgia Slowe Sinclair enjoyed a day on site this week, seeing first hand the huge amount of activity and preparation that goes into holding such a vast event and having a go at a couple of the many activities which will be available to visitors at the show.
At the core of the Show are traditional country sports, shooting, fishing, gundogs and falconry amongst others, but there is much more. There will be numerous high-adrenaline sports to try out which give an idea of some of the newer activities now available in the countryside. ‘Have A Go’ forms part of the ethos of the whole event and tuition and coaching are available for a huge number of sports and activities, together with endless advice, information and guidance.
