Good News for Yorkshire from Bramham !

YORKSHIRE RIDER IN THE LEAD AT BRAMHAM

At the end of the first day of Dressage at Bramham International Horse Trials in Yorkshire, local rider Nicola Wilson leads the field with a score of 48.3 on Skiver, owned by Lady Milnes Coates.  In second place is Vicky Brake riding her own and Mrs Pamela Brake’s Imperial Cavalier on a score of 50.8.  In joint third place are Louisa Lockwood on Kiama, John Marsden on Shillelagh Gold and Georgia Bale on Beggars Belief on a score of 51.7.

Nicola Wilson (Nee Tweddle) is based on Northallerton and will ride her second horse Don’t Underestimate in the dressage tomorrow.  She came 11th at last years Bramham on the bay 10 yr old mare owned by Mrs Tracy Darby.

Friday offers another full day of Dressage for both the Senior CCI*** Competition and the Under 25 CCI*** event.  Thirty three competitors were confirmed for the Under 25 CCI*** following the veterinary inspection this afternoon.  There was one withdrawal:  Guy Herbert on Fortune’s Way will not be competing.
